How To: Get iOS 8 Gold Master (GM) Copy for FREE Without a Developer Account

Apple just released the final copy of iOS 8 and a lot of people asked me where can I download the GM copy, and for those of you that don't know what that means it's essentially the final version of iOS 8 but just released early to developers. The first thing I would say is make sure you back up your device both on iCloud and iTunes. Now before I start just want clear up some of the major questions people were asking. This is the same FINAL version that will be released to the public, but this is just an early access card, you do NOT need to be on a previous version of iOS 8 to get this as long as you have the latest version for your device you're ready to go, and this does NOT void your warranty with Apple.

How To: View AP Scores Early (Video)

I recently graduated high school and I know when I look back at my academic career my AP classes are the ones that will stick out. Calculus AB and BC will be the first that comes to mind followed by Computer Science and Psychology. Derivatives, integrals, random generators, arrays, social loafing the list goes on. We take these courses to prepare us for one exam. And after these exams a sign of relieve, a weight is off your shoulder but replaced with another -- and that's waiting for the results.

How To: Zoom Into Photos on Instagram (iPhone)

Instagram. Everyone has one and if you don't you're missing out. Recently I graduated high school and a ton of people have been posting pictures from graduation on Instagram. Long story short, I showed my mom some of the pictures and when she double-tapped an image she saw a heart instead of a zoomed image like she was looking for. Believe it or not there's a built in feature on the iPhone that let's do zoom in. No jailbreak required. No software needed. So legggo.

iOS 8 Announcment at WWDC Confirmed

Apple has confirmed the announcement of iOS 8 next week at WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference). Inside the venue Apple has began putting up banners with the number eight, hence iOS 8, and a X representing OS X 10.10. The main banner for WWDC has the slogan, "Write the code. Change the world.". Usually people look into these banner searching for a hidden messages but I highly doubt the body of water symbolizes anything.

How To: Put Pictures on your iPhone's/iPad's/iPod's Passcode Numbers on your Lockscreen? (Step-by-Step)

Recently there's a trend going around Twitter where people post a picture of their lock screen with images inside each circle for their passcode, but how? People posting this on social media are asking for a retweet and in exchange they will DM you how to do it. I haven't tried it myself but I'm sure the person wouldn't DM 200+ people because they retweeted it. I looked online and only found Yahoo Answer questions still waiting for an answer and didn't find much luck on YouTube. I knew it had to be on the App Store and within five minutes found the app and I found out that this is fake. Let me explain.

Once I found the app to help me out I couldn't figure out how to set it as my lock screen and that's when the light bulb went off that the images like the one to your right, aren't showing you an actual lock screen but rather an image of the lock screen. Follow the steps I provided below if you still want to create the image to your right.

MacSafe Adapter NOT charging Macbook? Simple Fix (Reset the SMC)

The Macbook line doesn't just look appealing but everything down to the MagSafe charger is quite brilliant. The power adapter uses magnets to connect the laptop with the AC power charger and if you happen to trip on the wire, it breaks apart causing the wire to snap and your $1000+ laptop not go flying.

Recently a reader of Glyee tweeted me saying her computer wouldn't charge and so I thought it would be a good opportunity to write a post. Also if you ever have any questions tweet me since it's the fastest way of getting in touch with me (@bridgenn).

Rumor Roundup: iPhone 6 Leak (Hands-On) VS iPhone 5S, Nexus 5, Note 3

Apple is said to launch a brand new iPhone with a much larger display sometime this fall. Reports reveal, from a number of sources, that the iPhone 6 will come in two models -- a 4.7" (1334x750) and a 5.5" (1920x1080
) (The 5.5" is said to be delayed due to production problems). Besides the norm that we expect with each ensuing iPhone such as: a faster chip, better camera, and exclusive applications reports indicate that there will be design changes that come along with a larger display. For example, the power button will be moved from the top of the device to the right hand side to avoid an awkward reach you will have to do with a larger display.
